Our booth design for a Global Shop trade show is dedicated to celebrate the centenary of a lively school of ideas and a field for experimenting in the free and applied arts, design, architecture and educational methods. And this school is BAUHAUS.

The distinctive style developed by Bauhaus furniture designers is based on the principle of simplicity. Works were meant to be functional above all else.

Global Shop is a premier trade event designed to reflect what retail or even could say the whole market is today: integrated, responsive and endlessly engaging. Each year thousands of participants from different countries meet to show their best works and to discuss the retail future.

The Bauhaus was a lively school of ideas and a field for experimenting in the free and applied arts, design, architecture and educational methods.

The Bauhaus was only active for 14 years: as the “State Bauhaus” in Weimar, as a “school of design” in Dessau and as a private education institute in Berlin. It evolved out of the arts and crafts movement and art school reforms. Its ideas had an impact well beyond the school itself, its locations and its time.
